A magician pulls a yellow rubber band and tears off a part of it, forming a small circular rubber band. The remaining yellow rubber band looks like a cookie with a bite taken out of it, creating a crescent-shaped rubber band. Everything can be examined! Then, the magician takes out a red rubber band, retrieves the yellow mini circular yellow rubber band from the audience, and drops it onto the red rubber band. The yellow and red rubber bands fuse together, forming a complete two-colored rubber band.
You can also perform the crescent rubber band effect separately after other rubber band magic tricks. Jokingly say to the audience, "I originally wanted to give you a whole rubber band as a souvenir, but maybe you think it's too valuable. How about I just give you a part of it instead?"
